Part I: How to Integrate/Refute an Opposing View in your Essay [9:35-9:55 (20 min)]
Please look to the handout I will give you titled, "How to Integrate...." but do not turn to the second page. I want you to try and work and pairs to discuss what strategies this student tried to use to address the opposing viewpoint. Then, we will go over the answers together on the back page. I will ask you to repeat the process again with the second essay on the third page by underlying and identifying the major strategies. Do not cheat! We will go over the answers on the four page together as a class.
